Cotton Traders Implements Cutting Edge Payment Card Security!
BizAps has delivered a solution to retailer Cotton Traders, to provide secure and seamless integration between its SAP and web-shop order processes and its payment service provider. This means that orders placed either online or over the phone and paid for by credit card are processed in real time and completed immediately in SAP.
The key driver for real-time authorisations was the ability to shorten the lead time between taking the customers order and picking, packing and shipping this from the warehouse. The increased speed of order processing has resulted in additional capacity within the customer services team meaning Cotton Traders has been able to deal with increased order volumes, without increasing customer services personnel.
In a further development, BizAps has assisted the company to achieve the latest consumer security procedures for online transaction processing, and to ensure that their card processing procedures and data-management protocols adhere to the PCI-DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards). Cotton Traders has been the first UK organisation to implement ‘Secure-Store Tokenisation’, hosted by their payment-processing partner, Cybersource.
‘We take the security of our customers data very seriously, so have been quick to adopt tokenisation technology, which offers customers the peace of mind that their card details are in safe hands, when they shop with Cotton Traders.’ Development Manager, Cotton Traders.
